We had Ellie’s birthday party a couple weeks ago and I knew right away what the theme had to be–Trolls! Bright colors, yummy snacks and fun was all we needed to make this party awesome! We decided to have it at The Little Gym in Colorado Springs which was amazing! They help you set up, tear down, they entertain the kids and even help dish out food to all the kiddos.
Most of the decorations I made from things I bought from Michaels or I bought from Etsy (I LOVE me some Etsy!). I envisioned the food table to be bright and the center of the room. We had a gorgeous cake made along with rainbow sugar cookies. I made rice krispie treats that I dipped in melting chocolate and added sprinkles. I made fruit kabobs and laid them out to resemble a rainbow and made cheese & meat roll ups that were held together by pretzels.
I cannot get over this cake or the cookies. My girl was mesmerized by them!
I bought the digital file for troll photo props on Etsy. I had to cut them out and then used a glue gun to glue them to a cake pop stick. The photo says it all–they were a hit!
I hung this wreath on the front door, I may just have to do a tutorial post on this later 🙂
I bought these tags from Etsy, hole punched them in a Troll coloring book and viola–the perfect party gift!
I used this set up for the centerpieces of the two tables. A little troll village :). Everything but the trolls were purchased from Michaels.
It was so fun watching Ellie and her friends play and celebrating her big birthday! I’m pretty sure they all ate enough sugar to last them the whole year! See links for some of the above items!
